Shiro (シロ, Shiro^?) is a supporting character in GHOST FIXERS series.

Shiro is a Shirayukimaru (白 (しら) 雪 (ゆき) 丸 (まる) , Shirayukimaru^?), a dog god and a protector spirit who belonged to the Kagome family. He also is the former owner of the Cut-All-Blade. In the old future, Shiro protects the survivors in Home.

Etymology

• The name Shirayukimaru contains the characters (白 (しら) shira) means "white", (雪 (ゆき) yuki) means "snow" and (丸 (まる) maru) means "round, perfection, roll up".

Appearance

Shiro is a spirit in the form of a wolf.

Personality

Shiro is shown to be a kind and protective spirit who is capable of sacrificing himself for his loved ones.

Background

New Future

Shiro used to be a Shirayukimaru, a Guardian Spirit, for the Kagome Family and was seen as a family member and used to help Akira with her work.

On October 2, 2027, Akira and he would have a job in a tunnel where it was rumored that mysterious things were happening. Hours later, Shiro would go to look for Hifumi due to the strange events that were happening, finding that Fuhito Ikaruga was trying to kill him, saving him in the process, Shiro would ask Hifumi to run and reunite with his family despite Hifumi's insistence not to. Shiro would be killed by Fuhito and his secondary would be inherited by Hifumi.

Old Future

In 2027, during the Farfrotskies Incident, Shiro was unable to save Hifumi Kagome, this would be a great loss for him who considered Hifumi as a great friend. Shiro will survive the annihilation of the Correction Bureau, protecting the survivors of the zombie attack in Home.

• Hifumi Kagome: Shiro considered Hifumi to be one of his greatest friends, even passing on his The Cut-All Blade to him as a token of his appreciation. Shiro would sacrifice himself during the Fafrotskies to ensure Hifumi could escape. In the old future, Shiro failed to save Hifumi during said incident, suffering his entire life because of it.

	The Cut-All Blade: The Cut-All Blade is a plastic Blade which was sold in 2011. The Blade was found in some cardboard with "Uncuttable" written on it.

Trivia

• At the beginning of chapter 1, a being can be seen speaking to Hifumi to flee from the incident, later it would be revealed that this being is Shiro.
