Jissei Ibaraki (茨 (いばら) 木 (き) 実 (じっ) 生 (せい) , Ibaraki Jissei^?) is a supporting character in GHOST FIXERS series.

He's a vampire who works as a fixer. He's a member of the Ibaraki family and is the older brother of Karin Ibaraki.

Etymology

• The name Jissei contains the characters (実 (じっ) jis) means "reality, truth, fruit" and (生 (せい) sei) means "life, genuine, birth".
• Jissei's surname Ibaraki contains the characters (茨 (いばら) ibara) means "briar, thorn" and (木 (き) ki) means "tree, wood".

Appearance

Jissei has flowing lavender hair, which drapes over his shoulders in soft, smooth waves. He has piercing blue eyes. He is dressed in a deep crimson suit, with gold button. He has classic brown loafers.

Personality

Jissei has an anxious personality and is extremely cautious making him bad at cases with time limits. He avoids heading into dangerous situations without confirming that it’s safe first. He likes being relied on and valued by others.

Background

Jissei is a member of the Ibaraki family who are descendants of vampires who were based in the Chubu region of Japan, over the generations their vampiric characteristics like immortality, bloodsucking and sensitivity to sunlight have diminished. One day he awoke during Fafrotskies and searches for Karin.

Jissei and his sister Karin Ibaraki were held captive by the Correction Borough due to other vampires who came ashore during the Fafrotskies attacked humans so people called for them to be detained or fixed, Machitoshi Kose however gave them a chance to take the reality test to prove themselves and allow them to undergo fixer training due to him being an educator that specializes in Demi-humans and there being many like them among his subordinates.
